The cold of anxiety

The artist, Louise Bourgeois has had a large impact on my practice. I find I am able to relate with much of her work. In one of her cell installations, ‘Cell (Clothes)’ 1996, hangs a dress embroidered with the text, ‘The Cold of Anxiety is Very Real’. These words have become stuck in my head as for me they ring so true.

A short extract from ‘All the words I said before’. Following on from this video I removed my written words from the paper, bottling them so that no one other than myself will know what was said.
